The Equality Act Breakfast Seminar 25th November 2010

The Equality Act 2010  provides a new cross-cutting legislative framework to protect the rights of individuals and advance equality of opportunity for all.  To examine the changes in more detail we are holding a breakfast seminar which will cover the following areas

• Position pre/post 1st Oct 2010,  transitional provisions, guidance,  and the aim of the new Act.

• Types of discrimination - pre 1st Oct 2010
• Types of discrimination - post 1st Oct 2010

• Why do I need to know this? Case examples of compensation  awarded.   
• Focus on disability
• Focus on recruitment
